On-chain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence estimated BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes’ net worth at $200 million to $350 million.

On the 2nd, Arkham Intelligence said via X (formerly Twitter) that it had estimated Hayes’ net worth range and a breakdown of his on-chain holdings. Hayes is known as a co-founder of the cryptocurrency derivatives exchange BitMEX and as the figure behind the perpetual swap product. Perpetual swaps are currently among the most actively traded derivatives in the crypto market.

Arkham explained that it calculated his net worth by combining confirmed holdings identified through analysis of Hayes’ on-chain wallets with the value of past business stakes, among other factors. The estimated range is about $200 million to $350 million.

Arkham also noted the impact of legal risks on the process by which Hayes built his wealth. Hayes was previously indicted for violating U.S. anti-money laundering laws, pleaded guilty, and later received a presidential pardon in 2025. The firm said the case affected, to some extent, the scope of his activities and the management of his assets.
