According to a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Walter Bloomberg on the 3rd, Iran’s UN ambassador to Geneva said, “We will continue to defend ourselves until this attack is halted.”
He also warned that “if bases in neighboring countries are used to attack or invade another country, those bases will become legitimate targets.”
He added, “The only language we speak with the United States is the language of defense, and now is not the time for negotiations,” dismissing the possibility of talks.
