On the 10th, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, speaker of Iran’s parliament, said in a post on X (formerly Twitter), “We will never seek a ceasefire,” adding, “We must deliver a forceful response to the aggressor so that they will never again think of attacking Iran.”
He also argued that “Israel has maintained its dominance through a repetitive cycle of ‘war-negotiations-ceasefire-war again,’” and said, “Iran will break this cycle.”
