World Liberty Financial (WLFI), the cryptocurrency project backed by US President Donald Trump’s family, has made a large transfer of its tokens to a centralized exchange (CEX).
According to Onchain Lens on the 11th (local time), World Liberty Financial deposited about 39.7 million of its WLFI tokens into global cryptocurrency exchange Binance that day. At current prices, the transfer is worth $4 million.
A transfer of tokens to an exchange is typically seen as a potential sign of selling. World Liberty Financial has made several large transfers of its tokens to centralized exchanges multiple times this month.
Separately, the team behind President Trump’s memecoin Official Trump (TRUMP) also deposited 5 million TRUMP tokens into Binance on the same day. Valued at $14.4 million at current prices, the amount represents part of the 32.5 million TRUMP tokens the Official Trump team unlocked last month.
Of the tokens unlocked at the time, 9.88 million TRUMP were reportedly deposited into Binance through recently.
