An analysis has suggested that Bitcoin (BTC) transfers have been detected from a wallet believed to be linked to global trading firm Jane Street.
On the 16th, on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain said on X (formerly Twitter) that "over the past two hours, a wallet connected to Jane Street received about 205.36 BTC from BitMEX and LMAX Digital." The amount is worth about $15.08 million.
Lookonchain added that "Jane Street—previously embroiled in controversy during the LUNA-Terra (LUNA·Terra) crisis, including allegations of insider trading and claims it sold Bitcoin at 10 a.m.—is once again showing active trading activity."
However, the precise purpose of the fund movements has not been confirmed.
