Forecast Trend Report by Period

An analysis suggests that Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, could soon surpass BlackRock in Bitcoin (BTC) holdings.
According to Bitcoin Magazine, a digital-asset (cryptocurrency) news outlet, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) holds about 781,000 BTC, while Strategy holds about 761,000 BTC. The gap between the two has narrowed to roughly 40,000 BTC.
Strategy has been rapidly increasing its holdings on the back of aggressive buying. Over the first two weeks of March, it purchased an additional 40,332 BTC, bringing its cumulative purchases since the start of the year to 88,568 BTC.
There is also a difference in how the two accumulate Bitcoin. IBIT’s holdings fluctuate with ETF inflows, whereas Strategy raises funds through common and preferred share issuance to buy Bitcoin directly.
Market participants say that if the current trend continues, Strategy could overtake BlackRock’s Bitcoin holdings within the next few weeks.
