According to CoinDesk, a cryptocurrency-focused media outlet, World on the 17th (local time) unveiled “AgentKit,” which enables AI agents to prove they are real users via the company’s World ID system.
The toolkit is designed to link multiple AI agents to a single verified human user. This is intended to address identity-verification issues raised as the use of AI agents expands across online trading and shopping.
AgentKit integrates with “x402,” a protocol developed by Coinbase and Cloudflare. x402 is a technology that applies stablecoin-based micropayments to the internet communications layer, enabling automated payments between AI agents.
World said the goal is to transform AI agents from mere automated traffic into verifiable participants in the economy.
