Bithumb said on the 20th that it will run an event offering a 0.05% reward for maker (limit) orders across 100 virtual assets in its KRW market.
The event runs from 6 p.m. on the 19th until further notice. Customers who complete event registration and trade eligible KRW-market virtual assets via maker orders will receive rewards equal to 0.05% of the executed trade amount.
Rewards are capped at a maximum of 100,000 won per asset per day. They will be paid in KRW every Friday based on cumulative trading performance from the previous Monday through Sunday. Eligible recipients are customers who have completed customer verification (KYC), linked a KB Kookmin Bank account, and agreed to receive marketing communications.
Maker rewards paid under this event are applied in addition to the existing maker rewards within the membership program. However, for trades where trading points are applied, points will be paid first and the relevant trade amount will be excluded from this reward program. The same trade amount will also be excluded when determining eligibility for Black Premium benefits.
Eligible assets may change without prior notice depending on operational conditions; in the event of a change, only maker trading performance up to 24:00 on the day of the change will be recognized. Participation may be restricted in conjunction with certain events and services, and the offer cannot be combined with the VIP matching program, the API first-trade fee payback, fee benefit events, and others.
A Bithumb official said, "We have prepared a maker reward program so customers can experience trading benefits in various ways," adding, "We will continue to work to provide a stable trading environment and tangible benefits."
