Crypto-focused AI platform Surf on the 24th launched 'Surf 2.0,' which enables users to build crypto products using natural-language prompts alone.

With this update, Surf said it provides an environment where users can build crypto analytics tools and web applications without coding.

Surf 2.0 is a platform focused on addressing the limitations of general-purpose AI models. Conventional AI has struggled with differences in data structures across blockchains, real-time shifts in token economics, and complex analyses spanning on-chain and off-chain data. To solve these issues, Surf combined data specialized for the crypto industry with its model architecture.

The platform operates by automatically orchestrating more than 10 global AI models—including those from Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, and DeepSeek—together with its proprietary fine-tuned models. It also combines more than 30 industry data sources with its own database to deliver deeper analysis than typical web-based AI.

There are two core features. First, through the no-code builder 'Surf Studio,' users can create web apps by describing features in natural language and iterating on the results. They can deploy immediately in a service format without separate server setup or deployment processes.

The other feature is the 'Surf Agent Stack (SAS).' As infrastructure for developers and AI agents, it provides more than 60 API endpoints and MCP servers across seven categories. It can integrate with existing AI development environments such as Claude Code, allowing it to be applied to external projects as well.

Data-processing scale has also expanded. Surf supports more than 40 blockchains and analyzes more than 29.4 billion cross-chain token transfer records. It indexes more than 120 million social data points and monitors 200,000 key accounts, while tracking flows across more than 12,000 major wallets. It has processed a cumulative total of more than 2.5 million crypto-related tasks, building a growing set of use cases.

Examples of real-world use cases include automatically generating due-diligence reports ahead of partnership deals, building protocol competitive-analysis tools based on on-chain data, and real-time alert systems for whale-wallet movements and shifts in market sentiment.

Ryan Lee, Surf's CEO, said, "The crypto market is the area with the highest demand for AI use in terms of the volume and speed of data," adding, "We will make it possible for anyone—not just professional developers—to build crypto intelligence tools."
