Iran has reiterated that it will end the war only if sanctions are lifted, compensation is paid, and the United States guarantees non-interference. Markets say that despite hopes for talks, the gap between the two sides remains wide, raising the likelihood the conflict will drag on.

According to cryptocurrency-focused outlet Odaily on the 24th, Mohsen Rezaei, a military adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, recently said in an interview on Iranian state TV that the conditions for ending the war include: ▲payment of all compensation ▲a full lifting of economic sanctions ▲international legal guarantees that the United States will not interfere in Iran’s internal affairs.

Rezaei said, “Iran will not stop the war until it receives all compensation, all economic sanctions are lifted, and it obtains international legal guarantees that the United States will not interfere in Iran’s internal affairs.”

He also touched on the backdrop to the latest clash. Rezaei said, “The dispute between Iran and the United States is not limited to this war or the attack in June last year,” adding that it is “a conflict that has continued for 47 years since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.” He stressed, “This issue must be brought to a conclusion.”
