Future House, a blockchain education organization and community hub, said it has signed collaboration agreements with Web3 clubs at major universities across South Korea and plans to operate a talent-development program.

Participating in the collaboration are Web3 clubs from 10 universities in South Korea: △Yonsei University BAY △KAIST Oracle △POSTECH Pidao △Korea University Blockchain Valley △Ewha Womans University EwhaChain △Inha University BlueNode △Sungkyunkwan University Scripto △Kwangwoon University DeButler △Ajou University LayerA △Hanyang University HiBlock.

Through the partnership, Future House plans to roll out a program comprising a university council, support for club-hosted events, a talent pipeline, university affiliate researchers, and campus ambassadors. Specifically, the university council will incorporate students’ input across Future House’s operations, including proposing education curricula and selecting joint research topics. The talent pipeline will provide practical solutions needed for job searches, such as resume and interview preparation, internship matchmaking, hackathons, and scholarship programs.

In addition, university affiliate researchers will work with Future House on research projects on decentralized technologies and the latest trends in the virtual-asset market. Students in the participating clubs will be offered not only access to an exclusive event space in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, but also opportunities for lectures and mentoring from researchers, founders and builders in the global Web3 ecosystem.

The educational content will be structured in tiers, ranging from beginners to experienced developers. The hands-on curriculum includes writing and deploying smart contracts, analyzing Solidity, learning the ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards, and developing DApps. A special session on stablecoins will also be held on the 4th of next month.

Future House also plans to run a networking program from mid-May, with participation from founders of overseas Web3 projects, industry experts and headhunting professionals.

Lee Eun-chang, co-founder of Future House, said, “We plan to build an ‘Intellectual Hub’ that will enable university clubs to collaborate with one another and communicate with global industry leaders, with our headquarters space as the base,” adding, “We will faithfully serve as a bridge so that students can move into the real industry.”
