Iran has once again denied the possibility of negotiations with the United States.
According to Walter Bloomberg on the 25th (local time), Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said, "There will be no talks with the United States."
He stressed, "We have shown that no country can threaten Iran’s security," adding that Iran "demands a permanent end to the war and compensation for acts of destruction."
He also added, "The U.S. is sending messages through mediators, but that does not mean negotiations."
The remarks are interpreted as showing that Iran is still maintaining a hardline stance, contrary to U.S. comments suggesting the possibility of talks.
