Iran has again denied the possibility of negotiations with the United States.
According to Walter Bloomberg on the 25th (local time), Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said, "There will be no talks with the United States."
He stressed that Iran had "shown that no country can threaten Iran’s security," adding that it "demands a permanent end to the war and compensation for acts of destruction."
He also added, "The United States is sending messages through intermediaries, but this does not mean negotiations."
The remarks are seen as underscoring that Iran is still maintaining a hard-line stance, contrary to the U.S. side’s references to the possibility of negotiations.
