Korbit has improved trading features for corporate clients.
On the 26th, Korbit said it had upgraded the TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price) function of its corporate-only service, 'Korbit Biz.'
The revamp focused on enhancing order stability and execution precision by reflecting the trading characteristics of corporate customers managing large-scale assets.
Korbit first introduced a new TWAP feature based on limit-order IOC (Immediate Or Cancel). It also refined trading intervals and durations, enabling clients to execute more sophisticated sliced trades depending on their strategies. This allows large orders to be executed within a desired price range while reducing market impact.
Risk-management features were also strengthened. A real-time chart was added to the TWAP settings screen so users can monitor price movements when formulating trading strategies. In addition, the company introduced a function that prevents orders from being filled at prices exceeding 5% relative to the average of the best bid and best ask (mid-price), helping avert unintended executions during sharp price swings.
Lee Jung-woo, Korbit’s chief technology officer (CTO) and chief product officer (CPO), said, "We focused on strengthening stability and protection features by reflecting corporate clients’ actual trading patterns," adding, "We will continue to upgrade our services to provide a trustworthy trading environment."
