The Iranian government sharply criticized a proposal related to negotiations with the United States, reiterating that there have been no direct talks.
According to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Walter Bloomberg, an overseas markets breaking-news channel, on the 30th, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said, “Most of the proposal conveyed to Iran is unrealistic, unreasonable, and excessive.”
Baghaei added, “No direct negotiations with the United States have taken place; there was only an exchange of messages through intermediaries.”
