Artcube2R2 Gallery said on the 30th that it will take part in BAMA 2026 from April 2 to 5, presenting a carefully curated collection at Booth C37 at BEXCO in Busan.
BAMA, which draws attention from the art world at home and abroad, is a leading art fair that surveys currents in contemporary art. Through this participation, Artcube2R2 is proposing a balanced curation that spans eras and genres. The presentation is broadly composed—from masters’ masterpieces to works by artists currently in the spotlight—focusing on offering collectors and visitors an expanded aesthetic experience.
Participating artists include Chun Kyung-ja and Jeon Hyuk-lim, leading figures in modern and contemporary Korean art, as well as Ha Tae-im, known for vivid color and repetitive rhythm, and Damien Hirst, who holds influence in the global contemporary art market.
Also introduced are works by contemporary artists such as Graplex, which combines street sensibilities with the language of popular culture; Lee Sara and Seo Dae-ho, who present delicate painterly work; and Japanese artist Hiroyuki. Through this, the booth completes a multidimensional composition that moves across generations and media.
The booth goes beyond a simple display of works, focusing on exploring points where different eras and sensibilities intersect. Artcube2R2 aims to present an organic link between classical and contemporary art and to suggest new possibilities for collecting.
Hong Ji-sook, CEO of Arttoken and head of Artcube2R2 Gallery, said, "Artcube2R2 has participated mainly in overseas art fairs since opening, and through this BAMA 2026 participation we hope to broaden our touchpoints with the domestic art market," adding, "We hope this will be an opportunity to engage directly with Korean collectors, including those in Busan, and to introduce the gallery’s curatorial direction and roster of artists in a more multidimensional way."
She added, "Going forward, based on the experience accumulated on overseas stages, we plan to continue presenting more balanced programs that organically connect Korea and international markets."
