According to Walter Bloomberg’s X (formerly Twitter) feed, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said on the 30th, “Iran, as a member state, respects the NPT, but when we are attacked and our rights are not respected, its utility is called into question.”

Meanwhile, Iran’s state-run Tasnim news agency, citing the Foreign Ministry, reported that US demands were “excessive and illogical.” It also said Iran did not take part in the recent talks held in Pakistan.
