BitMine, the world’s largest corporate holder of Ethereum (ETH), has carried out additional staking.
According to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by crypto-focused outlet Cointelegraph on the 31st, BitMine, led by Tom Lee, staked an additional 167,578 ETH that day. The amount is worth about $340 million.
With this staking, BitMine’s total staked Ethereum holdings expanded to 3,310,221 ETH. Based on valuation, this is roughly $6.72 billion (about 10.2975 trillion won).
Some in the market also say that if large-scale institutional staking continues, it could act as a supply-side pressure factor by reducing circulating supply.
