Midas raises $50 million in Series A funding…cumulative issued assets reach $1.7 billion

Onchain investment platform Midas (Midas Software GmbH) has secured a major fundraising round.

Midas said on the 2nd that it raised $50 million in a Series A round. The round was co-led by RRE Ventures and Creandum.

Global institutions participated in the round, including Franklin Templeton, Coinbase Ventures, Framework Ventures, Anchorage Digital, HV Capital, Ledger Cathay, and GSR Ventures. Among domestic investors, Hyperithm previously participated as an early investor in Midas.

Midas currently issues 18 tokenized securities, including mHYPER, mEDGE, and mMEV, with cumulative issued assets surpassing $1.7 billion.

The platform is structured to offer, in the form of onchain investment products, strategies used not only by digital-asset managers but also by traditional asset managers such as BlackRock and Apollo Global Management.

Midas holds custody and management authority for its issued assets directly and discloses asset status through periodic transparency reports. It is also integrated with major decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols such as Morpho, Curve, and Pendle.

The number of individual token holders currently stands at more than 20,000.
