Dunamu, the operator of digital-asset exchange Upbit, said on the 3rd that it held a graduation ceremony on the 2nd to wrap up activities of the 4th cohort of its Upbit university team supporters program, ‘UpTo.’

The fourth cohort comprised a total of 36 university students working in teams, and over roughly three months served as ambassadors to boost trust in the digital-asset market and promote a sound investment culture. This cohort was notably run with a focus on team projects to maximize synergy as “One Team.”

Supporters successfully completed not only online activities consisting of two individual missions and nine team missions, but also an offline “Campus Attack” mission designed to strengthen practical capabilities. Online, they produced content that explained complex digital-asset concepts—such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins—in an accessible way and highlighted Upbit’s investor-protection efforts.

In the offline “Campus Attack” mission, each team visited a university and planned and operated promotional booths firsthand. By incorporating creative concepts such as pirates, health clinics and amusement parks, they encouraged students to engage with investor-protection policies and asset-trading knowledge in an enjoyable way, drawing strong interest.

Awards based on performance were also presented at the ceremony. The top team, ‘Beast,’ selected through a comprehensive evaluation of planning capability and participation, received a certificate, a trophy and prize money of 2 million won. The excellence award went to teams ‘Don’t Ask My Student ID’ and ‘NFS,’ each receiving 1.5 million won. In addition, team-specific special prizes were awarded, including the Creative Award and the Best Reels Award.

Yoon Sun-joo, Dunamu’s Chief Brand Impact Officer (CBIO), said, “The fresh ideas and passionate achievements demonstrated by this fourth cohort were highly impressive,” adding, “We look forward to a healthy digital-asset investment culture that talented young people will help shape.”
