Telegram is launching its in-house wallet service, “Wallet in Telegram,” and introducing in-app crypto futures trading.

On the 2nd (local time), Telegram said it has partnered with Righter, a decentralized crypto exchange (DEX), to support a native perpetual futures trading service within the app.

Through the collaboration, Telegram users will be able to take long (buy) or short (sell) positions immediately within the wallet without switching to a separate app. Supported markets number more than 50, including crypto assets as well as metals, stocks and crude oil. Users can employ leverage of up to 50x, while the minimum investment amount has been set at $1, lowering the barrier to entry.

Righter said, “Based on our technological capabilities, we will provide a simple spot and futures trading experience within the Telegram ecosystem,” adding, “We plan to open a partner contribution program to support other developers and apps in connecting to Righter’s liquidity.”
