Israel said it struck petrochemical facilities inside Iran. It also said it had previously attacked facilities linked to raw materials used in weapons production.

On the 4th (local time), Walter Bloomberg reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel attacked Iran’s petrochemical plants. The move follows an earlier strike on steel facilities.

Netanyahu said the steel facilities produce basic raw materials needed to manufacture weapons. He added that further air strikes on petrochemical facilities were carried out.
