As ceasefire talks between the United States and Iran take shape, the proposal is said to include a trade-off in which Iran gives up nuclear weapons in return for sanctions relief.
According to Odaily, a cryptocurrency-focused media outlet, on the 6th, multiple well-placed sources said the final ceasefire draft includes Iran’s abandonment of nuclear weapons, the lifting of U.S. sanctions, and the release of frozen assets.
The plan is described as a comprehensive agreement to end hostilities in the Middle East, with both sides reportedly aiming to reach agreement on key terms by the 7th (local time).
If a deal is reached, an immediate ceasefire is expected, and the Strait of Hormuz—a critical artery for global energy shipments—is likely to reopen. A final agreement could then be reached within 15–20 days.
Markets are assessing that if the talks materialize, easing Middle East-driven geopolitical risk could also affect the oil market and volatility in global financial markets.
