The White House said that discussions over a ceasefire between the United States and Iran do not involve a formally approved plan.
According to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by international business breaking-news channel Walter Bloomberg on the 6th, the White House said of the 45-day ceasefire proposal, "It is only one of several ideas, and it is not a plan approved by President Trump."
A U.S. government official was also reported to have stressed that the proposal remains at the conceptual stage.
