Tensions are rising again after Iran conveyed that it has halted efforts to negotiate with the US and will not engage in ceasefire discussions.

Walter Bloomberg, an overseas breaking economic news channel, reported on April 7 that senior Iranian officials told Pakistani counterparts they had ended efforts to negotiate with the US and would no longer take part in ceasefire talks.

The report, citing multiple senior Iranian officials, said Tehran also made clear it has no intention of resuming negotiations with Washington.
