Walter Bloomberg reported on June 8 that Iran's state-run Tasnim News Agency said the government would withdraw from the ceasefire deal if attacks on Lebanon persist. Iran's state-run Press TV also reported that Tehran would retaliate against Israel over airstrikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon, which it described as a ceasefire violation.
Israel continued its airstrikes on Lebanon even after the ceasefire agreement between Iran and the US. Israel's position is that the US-Iran ceasefire does not apply to Lebanon.
Separately, Saudi Arabia's main east-west oil pipeline was also reported to have come under a drone attack on June 8. Bloomberg reported that the extent of the damage has not yet been fully determined and that attacks continued in several places, including Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Iran, even after the US-Iran ceasefire agreement.
