Cointelegraph wrote on X on Aug. 8 that the Bhutan government had made an additional transfer of about 320 Bitcoin to outside addresses. The holdings were worth $22.68 million at current prices.
Bhutan has steadily sold Bitcoin this year. Last month alone, it transferred Bitcoin worth about $84 million to external wallets.
Bhutan has been stockpiling Bitcoin through a government-led cryptocurrency mining operation since 2019.
