South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Coinone said on April 14 that it will launch promotions to broaden access to USDC on its platform.

The decision followed a meeting between Coinone and Circle executives the same day. The companies met at Coinone's headquarters in Seoul's Yeouido district to discuss cooperation on developing South Korea's digital-asset ecosystem and the role of trusted, transparent stablecoin infrastructure.

Coinone said it plans to roll out a range of campaigns and promotional programs for customers who trade or hold USDC, including airdrop events. The exchange had previously offered zero-fee USDC trading and trading-volume-based events, helping expand domestic stablecoin liquidity and user participation.

Chief Executive Officer Cha Myunghoon said Coinone will continue introducing promotions aimed at improving access to and use of stablecoins in the local market as global interest in and demand for the assets increase.
