Walter Bloomberg reported on April 21 that Warsh told a hearing the effects of the Fed’s policy mistakes are now emerging.

He also called for fundamental policy reform and said the Fed’s broader policy stance needs to be reconsidered.

Warsh identified cost-of-living pressures as the most important issue in the current economic environment. “There is no more urgent issue than the cost of living,” he said.
