Decentralized exchange VOOI will shut down its VOOI Light service.
VOOI said on its official X account on April 21 that it will discontinue VOOI Light, a chain-abstraction-based trading app, starting May 18.
The company said the service is ending after infrastructure provider OneBalance decided to discontinue its chain abstraction solutions business. VOOI added that the shutdown of VOOI Light was not its own decision.
VOOI also issued instructions on deposited assets. Users must manually cancel all open orders before the service ends and withdraw deposited funds before the shutdown deadline, according to the company.
VOOI said it plans to release separate guidance later for token stakers and airdrop participants.
