More than $420 million in positions were liquidated across the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours.
SolanaFloor reported on April 22 that more than $415 million in positions were liquidated in the crypto futures market during the period. More than 100,000 traders were liquidated, it said.
Short positions accounted for about 70% of the total. That included $285 million in short positions liquidated over the past 24 hours. Long positions worth $132 million were also liquidated during the same period.
Bitcoin rose more than 2% from a day earlier to top $78,000. The token was up more than 5% from a week earlier.
