Telegram founder Pavel Durov has outlined a plan to lower fees on the TON network.
Writing on his Telegram channel on April 24, Durov said TON fees would fall to about one-sixth of their current level within a week and be fixed at 0.00039 TON, or about $0.0005, per transaction. The fee would remain unchanged regardless of network congestion.
He added that most transactions would later move to a fully fee-free structure, with the ultimate goal of creating a zero-fee environment.
