STAT, a blockchain-based data analytics company, will launch Bloomingbit Alpha, an artificial intelligence intelligence platform for institutional investors that it is developing with Bloomingbit, the digital-asset affiliate of the Korea Economic Daily Media Group, in late June.
A post on STAT’s official X account on April 29 said Bloomingbit Alpha combines investment data with AI analysis for institutional investors. The platform is currently undergoing private testing with multiple institutions.
STAT said it secured initial demand through Bloomingbit’s media network and its ties to global institutions. Testing is being conducted in a selected environment centered on those institutions as the service is refined.
Bloomingbit Alpha will be offered as an AI-based digital-asset intelligence terminal for institutional investors. It will run on a subscription model and is designed for institution-focused investing. The platform is intended to move beyond conventional data services centered on price information and instead build analytical infrastructure that can be used directly in institutional investment decisions.
The platform will gradually incorporate both on-chain and off-chain data, including over-the-counter deal flow and liquidity data, cross-exchange fund flows and supply-demand signals, activity data on major projects and market participants, and analysis of stablecoin and major-currency exchange deposit and withdrawal flows.
The platform’s core AI intelligence engine was designed to differ from general-purpose generative AI. STAT said it combines the reasoning capabilities of large language models with a real-time pipeline of news and market data obtained through key partners including Bloomingbit. It also uses a retrieval-augmented generation, or RAG, architecture to improve the accuracy of data-driven analysis and minimize hallucinations associated with generative AI.
Users can make natural-language queries and receive real-time analysis combining market data with quantitative and qualitative information. The platform is designed to deliver insights that can be used in institutional investment decisions.
Park Joo-hwan, STAT’s chief executive officer, said the company is building an AI intelligence environment that institutional investors can use in real investment decisions, based on the data and distribution infrastructure it secured through its partnership with Bloomingbit, which has more than 1 million monthly active users. He added that the launch would position the company to lead the market for AI-based digital-asset intelligence.
