Forecast Trend Report by Period

Walrus, a storage protocol built on Sui, has unveiled memory infrastructure for AI agents, adding to a growing list of projects combining artificial intelligence and blockchain.
Decrypt reported on May 30 that Walrus launched MemWal, a memory layer and software development kit for AI agents.
MemWal is designed to provide verifiability, availability, portability and shareability for agent memory.
"Memory can be stored on an open, verifiable data layer," said Abhinav Garg, a product manager at Mysten Labs, the developer of Sui and Walrus.
That would allow developers to use models such as ChatGPT and Claude without being tied to a specific AI model or vendor.
The market is watching whether the combination of AI and blockchain infrastructure can expand into new applications. Developer adoption and broader ecosystem growth remain the key variables.
