MegaETH, a blockchain project, held an in-person meetup combining dApp demonstrations with trading events and outlined its strategy for expanding the ecosystem.
At the "MEGA ARCADE SEOUL" event held May 7 at Big Place in Seoul's Gangnam district, attendees were able to try MegaETH-based dApps and services from the "MEGA MAFIA" ecosystem. About 300 industry participants attended.
The event featured the "Euphoria" trading competition, an introduction to the new MOSS wallet, presentations on decentralized finance protocols and token drop events for users. MegaETH also introduced key services including World Markets, a perpetual decentralized exchange built on MegaETH, and BRIX, a platform that generates yield through Turkish money market funds.
MegaETH also presented a structure linking the blockchain base layer, the dApp ecosystem and the wallet in a single framework, unified through the USDm stablecoin.
The project said it plans to use MOSS, a wallet scheduled to launch this month, to build an integrated account structure that lets users manage multiple transactions from a single wallet. The aim is to simplify the user experience and lower barriers to going on-chain. MegaETH said its dApp ecosystem has surpassed $100 million in scale through MEGA MAFIA.
"MegaETH is not just a chain. It is an operating system that combines wallets, applications and a stablecoin," Shuyao Kong, MegaETH's co-founder and chief business officer, said. "We are aiming for a unified environment built on blockchain." He said he hoped the event gave participants a chance to experience and enjoy the MegaETH ecosystem firsthand.
MegaETH said it aims to deliver Web2-level speed on-chain through a high-performance real-time processing architecture. Through that, it aims to achieve higher throughput than existing blockchains while improving user experience.
