HMM-operated cargo ship Namu arrived at Dubai port in the United Arab Emirates at about 12 a.m. on May 8. The vessel caught fire after an explosion while anchored in the Strait of Hormuz on May 4.
At 12:20 a.m. on May 8, or 5:20 a.m. in South Korea, a tugboat towed the Namu to Drydocks World Dubai, the Middle East's largest ship repair yard, HMM officials said.
A pilot will board the vessel and begin berthing operations at the shipyard. The process is expected to take about three hours.
