Tether Mints Another 1 Billion USDT on TRON, Bringing Three-Week Issuance to 6 Billion
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Tether minted another 1 billion USDT on the TRON network, bringing its total new issuance over the past three weeks to 6 billion USDT.
On-chain analytics account Onchain Lens wrote in a post on X on May 11 that Tether had carried out the latest 1 billion USDT mint on TRON.
Over the past three weeks, Tether has issued a combined 6 billion USDT on the Ethereum and TRON networks, according to Onchain Lens. During the same period, it burned 2 billion USDT on Ethereum.
Traders often view large stablecoin issuance as a sign of expanding liquidity in the digital-asset market. USDT on TRON in particular holds a large share of activity on global exchanges and in remittance markets across emerging economies.
It remains to be seen whether the newly minted tokens have actually entered circulation. Tether at times issues tokens in advance to provide exchange liquidity and manage reserves.
