South Korea’s National Pension Service bought an additional $37 million of Strategy stock in the first quarter.
Bitcoin Treasuries reported on May 13 that the NPS disclosed in a filing submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission on May 12 that it purchased 207,567 additional Strategy shares during the quarter. The latest purchase was worth about $37.2 million.
The purchase increased the NPS’s holdings in Strategy to 821,985 shares. The stake is valued at about $147.5 million.
Strategy is the world’s largest corporate holder of Bitcoin. As of May 13, the company held about 818,900 Bitcoin, with an average purchase price of $75,540 per token.
