Solayer has launched a card that allows users to spend stablecoins in everyday transactions.
Cointelegraph reported on May 15 that Solayer rolled out a Visa card tied to the stablecoin USDC. The card supports online and offline purchases, as well as contactless payments. It also allows ATM withdrawals. Existing Solayer Pay app users can receive the card for free, while new users must pay a $20 annual fee.
Solayer Pay debuted in April 2025 under the name Emerald Card and has attracted 40,000 users across more than 100 countries. Solayer said the launch of the physical card will let users spend USDC directly anywhere in the world through Visa's payment network.
