BonanzaLab, a digital-asset data specialist, said on May 18 that it had obtained Main-Biz certification from South Korea's Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The certification is valid from May 15, 2026, to May 14, 2029.
Main-Biz is a government certification program for small and midsize companies with management innovation capabilities and growth potential in non-technology fields. Companies are evaluated across management areas including marketing, organizational management, services, processes and business models.
BonanzaLab provides digital-asset market data, analytics data and index calculation services. It is expanding its digital-asset data infrastructure business for a range of corporate clients.
Demand for standardized data used by institutional investors and financial firms is rising as the digital-asset market rapidly broadens its links with mainstream finance. The expansion of digital-asset ETFs, tokenized securities, or STOs, and broader corporate participation in the market is increasing the importance of reliable data infrastructure such as reference prices, indexes and asset classification systems.
BonanzaLab is also expanding businesses tied to digital-asset index calculation, asset classification systems and reference prices through partnerships with outside specialist institutions including FnGuide. It is focused in particular on building reference-price and benchmark data based on data from multiple exchanges.
The company plans to expand its data API business and gradually enhance areas widely used by financial institutions, including reference prices, index calculation and asset classification systems. It also plans to broaden cooperation with financial companies and outside specialist institutions.
Chief Executive Officer Park Hye-yeon said the Main-Biz certification recognized capabilities the company had built through the stable operation of its digital-asset data business. BonanzaLab will continue to upgrade data solutions that financial institutions and institutional clients can use in their day-to-day operations, she added.
