Concern that the dollar is overvalued is rising as long-term US Treasury yields climb again.
Walter Bloomberg reported on May 19 that the yield on the 30-year US Treasury rose to 5.158%.
In Bank of America's May Global Fund Manager Survey released the same day, a net 50% of respondents said the dollar was overvalued, up from 41% a month earlier.
BofA said the dollar is currently trading about 1.2 standard deviations above its long-term average.
In precious metals markets, spot silver fell about 3% to $75.24 an ounce.
