The Arbitrum Foundation has requested $43.5 million for its 2027 operating budget.

BlockBeats reported on May 29 that the foundation recently submitted its 2027 budget proposal to governance. The request includes $16 million in real-world assets and stablecoins, 1,740 Ether and 230 million ARB.

The funds would be used for the Arbitrum Foundation's operations next year. The foundation estimated total operating expenses for 2027 at $27.6 million and 244.9 million ARB.

Technology maintenance and support make up the largest share of spending at about 54%. The budget also includes administrative management and investment in ecosystem growth.

Formal on-chain voting on the 2027 budget proposal will begin on June 8.
