CNN and other media outlets reported on May 29 that White House physician Sean Barbabella, in a medical report released that day, said Trump remains in excellent overall health across major physical functions including his heart, lungs and nervous system.

Barbabella wrote that Trump is "fully fit to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State."

Trump also scored 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a 10-minute screening test used to detect mild cognitive impairment and early dementia, the reports said. The examination also found his heart age to be about 14 years younger than his actual age.

Barbabella advised Trump to continue losing weight and managing his diet. The exam showed Trump weighed about 238 pounds, or 108 kilograms, up roughly 6 kilograms from 224 pounds, or 102 kilograms, at his last physical in April 2025.

Medical staff also proposed low-dose aspirin for Trump. In a past interview, Trump said he takes 325 milligrams of aspirin a day, above the recommended low-dose daily amount of 81 milligrams.
