CoinMarketCap data on May 31 showed HYPE trading around $68.5, up about 5% from a day earlier. It was the first time the token traded above $68.5.
On Polymarket, the odds of HYPE topping $100 by the end of 2026 stood at 39% as of May 31. The probability of it surpassing $80 this year was 71%.
Bullish forecasts have continued to emerge. Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, recently projected Hyperliquid could climb to $150. Jeff Sprecher, chief executive officer of Intercontinental Exchange, the parent of the New York Stock Exchange, recently described Hyperliquid as "bigger than Nasdaq."
