AhnLab Blockchain Company Launches Digital-Asset Custody Service

AhnLab Blockchain Company, or ABC, has entered the digital-asset custody market with the launch of a wallet-based service for corporate and institutional clients that combines asset storage, permission management and transaction monitoring.

ABC said June 1 that it had officially launched ABC Cloud Wallet, a digital-asset custody service available through online applications from individual, corporate, institutional and foundation clients.

The service provides digital-asset storage along with operational authority and policy management functions tailored to the internal standards of companies and institutions. That allows clients to manage digital assets in line with internal approval procedures and asset-management rules.

ABC said it has also strengthened security by applying a multi-layered structure based on multi-party computation, cold wallets and round-the-clock monitoring. The company also provides transaction monitoring and Web3 security intelligence using on-chain anti-money laundering tools and BICScan, its in-house blockchain intelligence service.

ABC said it plans to broaden financial connectivity and potential stablecoin use cases through its wallet-as-a-service, or WaaS, platform. To mark the official launch, the company is also running a limited-time promotion that waives onboarding fees.

Chief Executive Officer Kang Seok-kyun said ABC would continue to provide secure Web3 financial infrastructure based on its security capabilities and in-house wallet development technology.
