Digital-asset investment products recorded $1.67 billion of net outflows last week, extending withdrawals to a third straight week.

CoinShares said in its weekly report on June 1 that global digital-asset investment products posted total net outflows of $1.67 billion over the past week, the second-largest weekly outflow of 2026. Cumulative net outflows over the past three weeks reached $4.21 billion.

Assets under management fell to $141 billion from $148 billion, the lowest level since early April. CoinShares attributed the broader pullback to worsening risk aversion as geopolitical risks tied to Iran spread.

The US accounted for most of the outflows with $1.63 billion. Germany posted $25.7 million of outflows, while Sweden and Hong Kong saw net withdrawals of $6.6 million and $4.5 million, respectively.

Bitcoin led the decline with $1.438 billion of net outflows, its largest weekly outflow this year. That reduced Bitcoin's year-to-date net inflows to $1.2 billion from $2.6 billion. Ethereum also recorded $257 million of net outflows.

Altcoin participation also weakened sharply. Three weeks ago, 11 assets posted net inflows, but only five recorded inflows of more than $1 million this week. XRP drew $20.3 million, Hyperliquid took in $10.8 million and NEAR posted $7.6 million of net inflows.

CoinShares said heightened geopolitical tensions had reinforced risk-off sentiment and driven broader outflows globally.
