Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang left SK Hynix a handwritten message asking for more high-bandwidth memory, or HBM. He also toured the company’s key memory products with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and other senior executives.

Huang made a surprise visit to SK Hynix’s booth at Computex 2026, Asia’s largest information-technology trade show, on June 2. He wrote “Please Make More” and signed an HBM4E wafer on display. He also wrote “LOVE SOCAMM” on a 192GB SoCAMM product.

Huang was accompanied by Chey, SK Hynix Chief Executive Officer Kwak Noh-jung and Kim Joo-sun, president and head of AI Infrastructure at SK Hynix. He also posed for a group photo with the company’s executives. SK Hynix is supplying Nvidia with its latest memory products, including sixth-generation HBM4 and high-performance, low-power LPDDR5X.

In a keynote speech at GTC Taipei at the Taipei Music Center on June 1, Huang formally announced full-scale production of Vera Rubin, Nvidia’s next-generation AI accelerator due for release in the second half of this year. “Vera Rubin is in full production now,” Huang said, adding that it uses memory from Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and Micron. Vera Rubin is slated to use HBM4, the sixth generation of high-bandwidth memory.
