Iran’s Foreign Ministry denied reports that Iranian forces attacked Saudi Arabia, pushing back against speculation that the Middle East conflict had expanded to another front.

Crypto media outlet Odaily reported on June 8 that a spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry said Iranian armed forces had not attacked Saudi Arabia.

The comment came as military clashes between Iran and Israel continued. Earlier, the Israeli military said it had detected additional missile launches from Iran toward Israel. An Iraqi militia group also announced it would take part in military operations targeting Israel.

Markets are watching whether the conflict will spread beyond Israel and Iran to neighboring countries. Iran’s denial could ease some concerns about a broader regional escalation, but persistent military tensions may keep volatility elevated in international oil prices and sentiment toward risk assets.
