AmberCN Says Humanity Protocol Token Minting, Dumping Continue Into 13th Hour

Unauthorized minting and dumping of Humanity Protocol's H token after a private-key leak has continued for more than 13 hours, on-chain analytics firm AmberCN said.

The attacker has been continuously minting H tokens on BNB Smart Chain, or BSC, on June 9 and selling them into the market, according to AmberCN.

The hacker is continuing to sell until the remaining funds in the liquidity pool are exhausted, the firm said.

So far, the attacker is estimated to have minted about 300 million H tokens and made about $34 million in proceeds.

The H token liquidity pool on BSC has been effectively drained in the process, with remaining liquidity falling to about $13.

H has also come under heavy selling pressure, plunging 99.9%.

The incident occurred after a private-key leak gave the attacker the authority to mint tokens.

The market is focused on the project's response, the scale of the damage and whether additional security measures will be taken.
