ShotgunFun, a Solana-based trading terminal, has launched a new service that returns trading fees to users.

ShotgunFun said on June 11 that it introduced a trading terminal offering cashback of up to 100% on trading fees. Cashback starts at 50% and increases in stages based on trading volume.

A trading terminal is a professional platform that provides market analysis as well as trading services such as order placement and position closing. ShotgunFun said trading fees have until now gone entirely to terminal operators. The new service is designed to change that structure by returning fees to users.

A fully non-custodial structure is another feature of ShotgunFun. The company does not directly hold user assets, and key management is encrypted through a turnkey system. Access to the keys is granted only to users, it said.

The platform also includes features for discovering new tokens, copy trading and instant chart-based trading. Its Trenches feature shows newly launched tokens, tokens in the listing stage and newly migrated tokens in real time. It also offers an Instant Trade feature that allows one-click trading from charts. Its limit-order function supports automated trading strategies such as buying on dips, stop-loss orders and take-profit orders.

ShotgunFun also offers a multi-wallet feature that lets users manage multiple wallets through a single interface. A portfolio feature shows each wallet's full trading history, profit and loss by token, and past investment performance.

The platform also includes an insider-wallet tracking feature, reflecting concerns that some insiders have siphoned off profits worth hundreds of millions of dollars during recent token launches. Users can review those wallets' transaction histories and copy the trades in real time.

ShotgunFun also introduced a referral program. Through a referral structure of up to five levels, users can receive as much as 50% of revenue. When referred users trade on ShotgunFun, the referrer also earns income.

The company plans to expand the blockchains it supports and add trading features based on artificial intelligence agents.

Miguel Loures, a co-founder of ShotgunFun, said investors have so far been treated like products rather than users. ShotgunFun was created to give power back to investors, he added.
