Forecast Trend Report by Period

A draft memorandum of understanding for US-Iran negotiations to end hostilities includes provisions such as reopening the Strait of Hormuz, according to reports.
Iran's semi-official Mehr News Agency reported on June 12, citing BlockBeats, that the draft MOU between Tehran and Washington includes lifting US sanctions on Iran, withdrawing troops stationed around Iran and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
Mehr said final negotiations between the US and Iran will focus on nuclear and economic issues. Iran's missile production is not expected to be included in the talks.
President Donald Trump said on June 11 that talks with Iran had reached the stage of coordinating a final document to end hostilities. He added that an MOU signing ceremony could be held in Europe as early as this weekend.
Iran's Foreign Ministry said it has not yet made a final decision. Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei called reports about the time and location of the signing entirely speculative.
